Microwave Popcorn VS Popcorn Maker Machine Popcorn

Can microwave popcorn kernels be put in a popcorn maker machine and pop ok or do you have to buy special popcorn?

    The popcorn is all the same. Trust me on this. The thing is that microwave popcorn in the bag, the microwave bag is " special" But I have popped it in a regular brown lunch bag.
    Edit: Dew has a point if it is an Air Pop. Might make it sticky. Should have asked what type machine assumed the kind you put oil in anyway. That would be fine.

    Yes ,but I think there’s something about the butter or oil from microwave popcorn. I am not sure but maybe check the instruction manual as I think from memory that the butter may do some damage to the machine. I might be wrong.
